We support a network of public composting stations across Kensington that are free for anyone to add their household and garden organics to. These provide locals access to reliable composting, and create a valuable resource for community gardening and food growing activities.
We offer collection services to transport organic waste from local businesses and apartment buildings, in order to help them:

Kensington businesses can now take advantage of convenient, hyper-local, low emission, genuinely environmentally sustainable waste management developed by community volunteers, while also supporting the reliable processing and production of a valuable resource to support community gardening and greening opportunities. These services are operated as a not-for-profit fundraising initiative by Kensington Town Hall Compost Incorporated, to support the ongoing operation of the Kensington Community-powered Compost Network.
